Ultralight shoes for low technical trail running. Semi-minimalist, perfect for those who want to start a transition towards minimalism or are looking for a more natural footprint with a lightweight shoe with little drop.
The
Puregrit 7 by
Brooks stands out from the previous model with its multi-directional studded sole and Ariaprene tongue. It also highlights the increase in its profile, gaining in cushioning and reducing the over pronation that occurs in the mountains but losing the sensation of contact with the ground.
The BioMogo and DNA midsole. Both materials adapt to the terrain we are going through at every moment, providing comfort and cushioning at every step. The BioMogo stands out for being respectful with the environment as it is a biodegradable material.
In the forefoot area Brooks has placed the
Ballistic rock protection plate that generates an optimal energy return. It has been designed in such a way that it absorbs the impact energy and distributes it over the largest possible surface. In this way the impact spreads throughout the forefoot, reducing the chances of generating pain.
The shoe as a whole has a very good fit to the foot. The width in the midfoot area is
medium width , which may be too tight for runners with wide feet. The upper is made with breathable mesh and plastic prints in the areas of greatest wear. This design that will allow us to evacuate sweat and keep the foot dry. The
heel is reinforced for better control on descents and more aggressive terrain.
